Development is shifting to fee-less blockchains. We're seeing a lot of attention around Elon's buying of Twitter but we're also seeing a lot of projects shift away from blockchains like Ethereum and toward lower-fee blockchains.
BSC's recent chain halt as a result of a hack on their BNBChain to BSC Chain bridge is a great example of how to leverage centralization.
I believe decentralization lives on a spectrum. Nothing is perfectly decentralized. We have some that are more or less decentralized than others. Even BTC has its own centralized issues.
Centralization and Decentralization both have their purposes. They will always live to a degree in any system.
The key is to understand the trade-offs of both and recognize each chain for what it is. What degree is it decentralized and how does that impact the way I use it?
