We all have to set boundaries and find ways to achieve balance. I've personally found it to be extremely difficult.
I'm the type of person who is very all-in or all-out. If I want to do something IRL, I want to be fully present in doing it.
If I want to do something for the business, then I am fully present in doing it.
This obsessive tendency can cause large swings in when I do things and when I don't do things. Finding a balance has been something that's very difficult for me. One thing that has helped me immensely is creating daily habits and rituals. Things that I do no matter what.
These rituals ensure that the baseline of both personal and business life are being hit.
In personal life, this might mean making a habit out of going to the gym daily. It might also mean setting aside 1 night per week to take a signifcant other out to dinner.
In business, this might mean having 1 specific day of the week, every week, where we check up on accounting. 1 day where we do content creation / uploads. etc. etc.
These types of habits keep everything on track. The extra space in between is for creative bursts.
